Guidelines for Writing Reviews

Providing feedback on Trustr listings is critical to ensuring the effectiveness of Trustr as a social discovery and booking platform. So once your stay has been completed, please always leave a review of the property that you booked (don’t worry, Trustr will remind you to do so).

Guidelines for Reviews

  • Be relevant. The most helpful reviews are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don‘t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary.
  • Be appropriate. Please avoid using profanity (or approximating profanity with creative spelling,) and ‘hate speech’, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or promoting illegal activities.
  • Be yourself. Reviews should be genuine, original and uniquely ‘you’.
  • Be respectful. Please respect the privacy of others and do not include email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, or similar details.

Trustr does not edit, sanction or ‘approve’ reviews, and will publish every review that we receive - as submitted - as long as it does not include or refer to:

  • Politically sensitive comments
  • Promotional content
  • Illegal activities
  • Personal or sensitive information (e.g., emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
  • Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
  • Spam and fake content
  • Animal cruelty
  • Impersonation (e.g., if the writer is claiming to be someone else)

The opinions expressed in reviews are those of Trustr members and not of Trustr. Trustr does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews we publish.
